St Andrews Lawn Tennis Club is the home of junior tennis in north-east Fife. Our LTA-qualified coaching team delivers structured sessions every weekday afternoon and on weekends, with clear progression from Red Ball mini-tennis through Orange and Green into Junior Yellow.
Players who want to compete progress into our Junior Performance squad alongside our Adult Yellow Performance sessions, with opportunities to play in LTA county leagues and Tennis Scotland events.

Where can my child play junior tennis in Fife?
St Andrews Lawn Tennis Club runs the largest junior tennis programme in north-east Fife, with LTA-qualified coaches at Kinburn Park, St Andrews. We follow the full LTA pathway from Red Ball through to Junior Yellow performance squads.
What ages do you coach?
Mini-tennis Red (ages 4-7), Orange (8-9), Green (9-10), and Junior Yellow (10+). We also run dedicated junior performance squads for players competing in county and national events.
Are there competitive opportunities for juniors?
Yes. Juniors at SALTC play in LTA county leagues, internal box leagues, and selected Tennis Scotland events. We also host club championships and junior tournaments.
